How Does a Payment Service Provider (PSP) Work?

Once your clients open their trading accounts, they will receive a unique username and password for accessing their client portal. Within the client's portal or the panel where they carry out their account related administration, clients can have the option to "Fund" their account, and if you are a company that offers multiple payment methods, your clients can choose the easiest and most cost effective way to deposit funds to fund their accounts from the various payment methods.

When a client selects a payment method, the payment provider directs them to a secure page to enter their card details. After submission, the PSP’s network processor sends the payment data to the issuing bank to request payment. If the transaction is successful, the funds are credited to your merchant account held with the PSP almost immediately.
